Reporting to the Vice-Provost, Innovation in Teaching and Learning (VPITL) and functionally to the Vice-Provost, Enrolment and Student Experience (VPESE), the incumbent provides strategic leadership to the University’s program reviews and ensures the quality and continuous improvement of their academic programs in a transparent and accountable manner. The incumbent will lead the development, planning, and execution of program reviews and quality assurance. They will also take a leading role in the coordination of the development and ongoing implementation of the Strategic Enrolment Management (SEM) plan.

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Develop, plan, coordinate, monitor and manage different projects simultaneously and autonomously.
- Develop, implement and lead the plan and process for regular academic program review of all new and revised programs ensuring quality assurance.
- Plan visits for external evaluators Lead, support and advise academic units on the preparation for accreditation, program reviews and audits by any external bodies.
- Advise partner institutions to ensure their compliance with the quality assurance processes of the University in relation to programme design, assessment, annual programme and actions arising from internal or external academic reviews.
- Design and implement a program review and quality assurance based on self-evaluation tools and survey instruments that may include but not limited to curriculum evaluations, periodic self-study reviews, student and alumni satisfactory surveys or feedback, peer reviews of programs and facilitation of focus groups.
- To establish the guidelines, policies and provisions relating to the program review and quality assurance.
- Prepare, manage, and monitor the budgets for the program review and quality assurance processes and other special initiatives.
- Conduct research and collect data to support strategic enrolment planning process, specifically as it relates to program development and delivery Advise the Vice-Provost on how best to conduct regular program reviews and quality assurance. In collaboration with the Manager, Curriculum Innovation and Development shares relevant outcomes from the program reviews that require involvement of and follow-up by the Curriculum innovation and development team.
- Develop and lead orientation sessions and workshops for academic units about program review and quality assurance policies and procedures, as well as about other special initiatives as needed.
- Advise and liaise with academic units, non-academic units, and external bodies (other universities, governmental agencies, etc.) with regard to the program review and quality assurance processes and other special projects.
- Request, extract, review, and analyze enrolment and program performance data as it pertains to the program review and quality assurance processes.
- Compile data, identify, assess, and align program reviews, quality assurance and SEM goals.
- Analyze programs and advise on opportunities for collaborations with cegeps, including academic pathways, liaising with internal and external stakeholders as necessary.
- In collaboration with the VPESE, develop, adapt, and implement effective tools and measures to evaluate the effectiveness of SEM initiatives.
- In collaboration with the VPESE, advise academic leadership and other partners on opportunities for integrating program reviews, quality assurance and SEM plans.
- Develop and lead orientation sessions and workshops for academic units about SEM in collaboration with other stakeholders (e.g., Student Services, Enrolment Services, and the Faculties) as well as program review and quality assurance policies and procedures, and about other special initiatives.
