**Position** **YARD CLERK - Student/Casual**

**Department** LUMBER

**Location** Assiniboia

**Responsibilities**
- To provide information, assistance and service to customers in a manner which will promote the sales of merchandise and meet the needs, requirements and expectations of the consumer.
- To receive merchandise and meet the needs, requirements and expectations of the consumer.
- To operate and maintain all equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner.
- To deliver product as directed by the manager.
- To assist in lumber and hardware areas of the store as needed.

**Requirements**:

- 1. Have a positive, professional approach and attitude.
- Able to work a variety of shifts.
- A pleasant and out-going personality
- A desire and ability to work with the public
- Physically able to do heavy lifting, climbing and kneeling
- Class 5 Driver’s License
- Forklift certification would be an asset.
- Successfully pass pre-employment testing as per Southland’s Alcohol & Substance Policy
