By adding awesome talent to our team, serious dedication and persistence, and keeping the guest in mind, we’ve grown to 45 Canadian Brewhouses, 1 Canadian Icehouse, 5 Banquet Bars (second restaurant concept), 41 Plantlife Cannabis dispensaries, 5 Ribeye Butcher Shops, and will soon be opening The Italian Bakery's Tesoro

**Responsibilities**
- Conduct legal research on various topics, including corporate law, employment law, Federal and Provincial job grants, and regulatory compliance.
- Assist in the preparation and drafting of legal documents, such as contracts, agreements, and corporate filings.
- Maintain and organize legal files and documents, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
- Support the executive team in corporate governance matters, including the preparation of board meeting materials and minutes.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel and other stakeholders as necessary.
- Assist in the management of litigation matters, including document collection and review.
- Stay informed about changes in relevant laws and regulations affecting the company's operations.
- Provide general administrative support to the executive team.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or certificate in Paralegal Studies or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a paralegal in a corporate or law firm setting.
- Strong knowledge of legal principles and procedures, with a focus on corporate law.
- Proficiency in conducting legal research using various online databases and resources.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft clear and concise legal documents.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Canadian legal system and regulations.
- Experience working in the hospitality industry or a similar field considered an asset.
