**Production Team Member**

Job type and term: Full time and permanent

Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 7 am to 3h30 pm

**Salary**: $18.00/hour

Vacation / paid leave: 4% (2 weeks’ vacation), 3 personal days

Other paid leave:3 days off during the Holiday Season -2 paid days during and 1 unpaid

Smith Induspac is experiencing rapid growth and is looking to fill different production positions for our production facility located in Mississauga. **Role and responsibilities**

According to production needs, the **Production Team Member** performs a variety of tasks to support the operators, as follows:

- Operate production equipment
- Unitize loads at end of machine
- Strip scrap from boxes and foam sheets / use band saw
- Bale scrap / Keep a clean safe working area
- Palletize / Unitize product / Counting inventory
- Complete Quality Reports and other required documentation

**Required knowledge and experience**
- High school diploma and experience in a similar role is an asset
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Capacity to read and understand drawings and specifications
- Proficiency with taking exact measurements with both metric and imperial systems

**Required skills and abilities**
- Exhibit safe work ethics is a must
- Have a positive, engaged contributor style attitude and communications
- Quick learner with technical aspects of work and with production equipment
- Organization skills, detail-oriented and quality-conscious

**Other requirements**

The position requires walking and standing. Some tasks may require bending, kneeling, reaching, as well as work outside and inside.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
