Euroworld Corp. Home Care Solutions is looking for Child and Youth Worker (CYW) professional who specializes in providing support, guidance, and interventions to children and adolescents who are facing various emotional, behavioral, and social challenges.

CYWs having work experience in a variety of settings, including schools, residential facilities, community centers, and mental health agencies. Their primary goal is to help young individuals develop essential life skills, cope with difficulties, and achieve their fullest potential in all aspects of life.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct assessments to identify the needs, strengths, and challenges of children and youth.
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as social workers, therapists, teachers, and parents, to develop individualized intervention plans.
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to address emotional, behavioral, and interpersonal issues.
- Offer a safe and supportive environment for children and youth to express their thoughts and feelings.
- Implement behavior management strategies to help young individuals develop appropriate behavior and coping mechanisms.
- Assist in designing behavior plans that promote positive change and growth.
- Respond to crisis situations, such as emotional breakdowns, conflicts, and emergencies, and provide immediate support.
- Collaborate with colleagues and other professionals to ensure the safety and well-being of the child or youth.
- Maintain accurate and thorough records of interactions, assessments, interventions, and progress.
- Prepare reports and documentation for case reviews and administrative purposes.

**Requirements**:

- A degree or diploma in a relevant field (such as Child and Youth Care, Social Work, Psychology, Counseling).
- Knowledge of child and adolescent development, behavior management, and therapeutic techniques.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills.
- Empathy, patience, and the ability to connect with young individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress situations.
- Understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing situations and environments.
- Experience working with children and youth, especially those facing challenges, is an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Casual

**Salary**: $23.00-$28.88 per hour

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (required)
- MHFA (required)
