St. Albert Public Schools is currently recruiting a **Full Time, Probationary, French Immersion Educational Assistant 4 **for a work assignment at** **É **cole **É **l **é **mentaire **Leo Nickerson **Elementary School **.**

More than 9000 students are enrolled in St. Albert Public Schools. From Preschool to Grade 12, our students learn and succeed in programs that are recognized for excellence and their focus on citizenship and sound values. As a precondition of employment, all potential new hires will be required to provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19 (all recommended doses of a vaccine approved by Health Canada and recommended by Alberta Health Services). Exceptions will only be considered upon proof of a medical condition, or other protected ground under the Alberta Human Rights Act.

**Hours of Work**:30.0** **hrs. /week; 6.0 hrs./day; Monday-Friday; Full Time Probationary

**Hourly Rate**:$20.56 per hour, as per the CUPE Collective Agreement

**Start Date**:Monday, August 28, 2023

**Specific Needs/Requirements for this position**:

- Formal Post-Secondary training is preferred
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training an asset
- Experience working with French Language an asset
- Experience working with a multi-disciplinary team preferred
- Experience working with students with various diverse learning and behavioural needs an asset
- Experience implementing positive behavior support plan strategies an asset
