Apprentice Watchmaker

As an Apprentice Watchmaker, you will have the chance to be enrolled in a program to learn the art of watchmaking from skilled professionals and develop your expertise in this specialized craft.

**Role and Responsibilities**:

- Under the guidance of experienced watchmakers, you will participate in a comprehensive training program to learn all aspects of watch service and repair
- Gain hands-on experience in disassembling and assembling watch movements, cleaning and oiling components, replacing parts, and performing timing adjustments
- Diagnose watch issues and develop effective repair solutions
- Develop proficiency in using watchmaking tools, equipment, and specialized machinery
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, ensuring attention to detail and precision in all tasks
- Embrace a continuous learning mindset to stay updated with the latest watchmaking techniques and industry trends
- Uphold our commitment to providing exceptional service and craftsmanship in all watch repair and maintenance tasks

**Qualifications**:

- No previous watchmaking experience is required; we are looking for individuals who are passionate and eager to learn
- Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work
- Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and provide updates on repair progress
- Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks effectively

**Apprenticeship Details**:

- The apprenticeship program is a full-time opportunity spanning 18 months
- You will receive comprehensive training and practical experience in all aspects of watch service and repair
- At the end of the program, a formal examination will assess your skills and knowledge
- Successful completion of the apprenticeship may lead to permanent employment with Global Watch Company

**Compensation**:

- Details regarding compensation will be discussed during the interview process.

**Salary**: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
