**Neuroscience Laboratory Manager**

**Location**:
Douglas Hospital Research Centre

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage laboratory protocols
- Maintain inventory and place orders for supplies
- Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment and supplies. Extertise running PCR is a plus.
- Organize laboratory events
- Troubleshoot and solve technical problems related to laboratory equipment and procedures
- Assist with the development and implementation of new laboratory techniques and protocols
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
- Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Neuroscience, Chemistry, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a laboratory setting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with laboratory equipment and techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Ability to follow standard laboratory procedures and protocols

35 hrs/week
