**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct project estimates and prepare quotations in accordance with construction plans for tender opportunities within expected deadlines
- Complete pre-qualification documents, review drawings/specifications and develop project estimates and proposals
- Develop the schedule on which the estimate is built based, request input from the project team and the various trades required
- Develops business relationships with subcontractors and suppliers for pricing within estimates and solicits for price quotations, addendums etc., as required and secure purchase orders/contracts
- Ability to work closely and communicate effectively with our external and internal stakeholders e.g. Client, consultant, design team, industry contacts, etc.
- Conduct site visits and collaborate with consultants, engineers, site supervisors, and other trades as required
- Coordinate the preparation of drawings, material and safety plans, and field installation with site crews
- Coordinate the of design, material, labour, subcontractors, and change orders
- Effectively manage projects to successful and profitable completion

**Requirements**:

- Post Secondary Diploma and/or certificate in a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in project estimation within the construction industry
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both French and English (bilingual)
- Understands construction documents and knowledge of construction costs and budgets, ability to develop a project schedule
- Demonstrated organizational skills and able to manage multiple priorities at the same time
- Strong negotiation abilities
- Ability to identify problems/issues; looks beyond the immediate problem to the wider implications and generates possible solutions
- Strong computer background including experience with MS Office and estimation/ Project management software
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively within a team

**Estimateur / Chargé de projets**

**Responsabilités**:

- Réaliser des estimations de projets et préparer des soumissions conformément aux plans de construction pour les appels d'offres dans les délais prévus
- Remplir les documents de préqualification, examiner et analyser les plans/spécifications et élaborer des estimations et des propositions de projet
- Élaborer le calendrier sur lequel repose l'estimation, demander la contribution de l'équipe de projet et des différents corps de métier requis
- Établir des relations d'affaires avec les sous-traitants et les fournisseurs afin d'obtenir des prix conformes aux plans et devis, demander des soumissions, des addenda, etc., au besoin, et émettre des bons de commande ou des contrats
- Capacité à travailler en étroite collaboration et à communiquer efficacement avec les parties prenantes externes et internes, par exemple le client, les professionnels, l'équipe de conception, les contacts de l'industrie, etc.
- Effectuer des visites de chantier et collaborer avec les architectes, les ingénieurs, les superviseurs de chantier et les autres corps de métier, selon les besoins
- Coordonner la préparation des dessins d’ateliers, des plans, le matériel santé et de sécurité et l'installation sur le terrain avec les équipes de chantier
- Coordonner la conception, les matériaux, la main-d'œuvre, les sous-traitants et les ordres de modification
- Gérer efficacement les projets afin de les mener à bien et de les rentabiliser
- Préparation et élaboration de l’échéancier de projet

**Exigences**:

- Diplôme ou certificat d'études postsecondaires dans un domaine connexe
- Minimum de 3 ans d'expérience en estimation de projet dans l'industrie de la construction
- Excellentes compétences en communication orale et écrite en français et en anglais (bilingue)
- Comprendre les documents de construction et connaître les coûts et les budgets de construction, être capable d'élaborer un calendrier de projet
- Compétences organisationnelles démontrées et capacité à gérer plusieurs priorités en même temps
- Fortes capacités de négociation
- Capacité à identifier les problèmes/questions, à regarder au-delà du problème immédiat pour en évaluer les implications plus larges et à trouver des solutions possibles
- Solides connaissances en informatique, notamment expérience de MS Office et des logiciels d'estimation et de gestion de projet
- Capacité à collaborer et à travailler efficacement au sein d'une équipe
