À propos de l’axe Oncologie

**Notre vision**: mettre en œuvre l’oncologie de précision comme norme de soins
La mission de l’ axe Oncologie du CRCHUQc-UL est d’apporter clarté et résolution à des problèmes scientifiques complexes liés au cancer, au bénéfice des patient et patientes et de la société. Relever ce défi est rendu possible grâce à notre expertise diversifiée et multidisciplinaire en recherche qui couvre tout le spectre des sciences de la santé. Cela comprend la recherche fondamentale en biologie cellulaire et moléculaire et en physique médicale, la recherche clinique, ainsi que les soins de santé physiques et psychosociaux et les interventions de santé publique. Les programmes de recherche poursuivis au sein de l’axe sont regroupés en trois thèmes : 1) biologie, étiologie et prévention, 2) dépistage, diagnostic, pronostic et traitement, 3) survie, qualité de vie et services de santé.
