At **SMS Equipment**, our **LMS Coordinator** supports business by completing the day to day administration tasks within the SMS and Komatsu Learning Management Systems (LMS) as well as creating customized training reports for the various departments within SMS. The **LMS Coordinator** works closely with internal training resources to meet the learning and development needs of SMS Equipment employees. This position is based in** Acheson, AB**.

This position offers a **hybrid** work arrangement.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Learning Management System (LMS) e-Learning Material Management
- Technical Training Calendar and LMS Course Management:

- Create and maintain Calendar events for all Instructor Led instances.
- Create Instructor Led sessions within the corresponding courses.
- Verify eligibility of registration requests and enroll learners.
- Mark course completions and update scores
- Creation of custom reports and generation of pre-defined reports as needed.
- LMS and LinkedIn Learning Audits and Updates:

- Monitor license usage.
- Daily and monthly reconciliations between learning/employee platforms.
- Manual creation and updates to of out-of-scope accounts.
- Verify training needs, assign training and monitor requests via the SMS Departmental Portal, using ITIL processes.
- Learner setup (All Regions and Mongolia) via the Komatsu Learning Management System.
- Assign training using predefined models.
- Troubleshoot issues across the various Learning Platforms as needed.
- Training Inbox management.

**Qualifications**:

- Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to build effective work relationships.
- Superior organizational and time management abilities; be able to consistently make intelligent decisions under pressure; possess good judgement, initiative, positive job attitude and be dependable.
- Possess strong analytical skills and high attention to detail as they are required to troubleshoot technical issues within the LMS and respond to request of varying complexity from stakeholders and employees across all branches within the company.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
