**THE ROLE**:
The role of the **Junior Geologist** works collaboratively with Denison’s Saskatoon-based exploration team in advancing our portfolio of uranium projects in the Athabasca Basin, including activities on Denison’s flagship Wheeler River exploration claims along with other properties. The **Junior Geologist** will be responsible for collecting, interpreting, and modelling field and subsurface data to advance Denison’s interests in the Athabasca Basin.

**OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE**:
The **Junior Geologist **brings strong technical skills and progressive experience in all aspects of the mining life cycle, with direct experience related to exploration and development activities and hands-on experience overseeing drilling operations. As a highly motivated, safety oriented, project-driven geologist, the **Junior Geologist** has solid organizational skills, a strong sense of responsibility and demonstrated effectiveness in collaborating with others to achieve results. Additional qualifications and attributes include:

- Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Geological Engineering or equivalent from a recognized post-secondary institution is required.
- Applicable work experience in mineral exploration or mining, preferably uranium, is ideal.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently and effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills that support safe, collaborative and inclusive relationships with peers and contractors within a remote workplace environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate, persuade and influence others.
- Adept at managing performance against key milestone deliverables.
- Strong problem-solving skills combined with a continuous improvement mindset to adapt in a dynamic and changing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to think critically to effectively evaluate and resolve complex problems.
- Possession of a Drivers’ License that is valid and in good standing, and the willingness to operate vehicles in remote areas.
- Experience driving an ATV is an asset.
- Certified in First Aid is strongly preferred.
- Willingness and ability to carry out work tasks and duties outdoors up to 25% of the time, team lifting up to 50 lbs regularly, and with varying hours of work (up to 11 hours per day while in the field).
- Ability to wear and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and assigned; CSA-approved steel toe boots are mandatory for most tasks.

**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Accurately log, photograph and sample drill core, including high-grade uranium mineralization.
- Ensure that all geoscientific data is collected accurately and stored appropriately.
- Coordinate drill pad and trail preparation, spotting and stopping holes, and rig moves.
- Collect wireline geophysical data upon completion of drill holes.
- Lead the interpretation and modelling of the geological and geochemical results.
- Generate drill targets, collaborate on drillhole planning and permitting, execute drill programs, and ensure the collection of quality geological data.
- Complete data compilation accurately and in a timely manner to support continued and upcoming exploration activities. Contribute to the planning and execution of exploration programs in the Athabasca Basin.
- Prepare written reports on program status, and actively participate and contribute to status update meetings as required.
- Perform all duties and activities in accordance with safety protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Perform other duties as assigned or as may be required.
