Our client, a prominent eye care provider with locations across North America, is seeking a dynamic new graduate Optometrist to join their Ottawa clinic. **Responsibilities**:

- Conduct comprehensive eye exams to diagnose and treat various visual diseases, disorders, and deficiencies.
- Prescribe corrective lenses and medications as needed.
- Provide pre
- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgery.
- Educate patients on proper eye care and promote eye health, including the selection of eyewear fittings and adjustments.
- Engage actively in the clinic’s training programs, which are designed to enhance clinical skills and knowledge in the latest optometric practices and technologies.
- Collaborate with a team of experienced optometrists and other healthcare professionals to provide top-tier eye care.
- Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Stay informed of the latest developments and best practices in optometry through continuous education and professional development opportunities.

**Qualifications**:

- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry program.
- Newly graduated or with recent experience in the field.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice optometry in Ontario.
- Strong commitment to providing excellent patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and team members.
- Enthusiastic about participating in a comprehensive training program designed to enhance clinical expertise.
- Proficient in using optometric technology and patient management software.
