Job description:
PPB Analytical Inc. is a leading commercial testing laboratory dedicated to delivering accurate and reliable testing services to our clients in cannabis and environmental sectors. We pride ourselves on maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance. As we continue to grow, we are currently seeking a Laboratory Technician (Pre-Processing) to prepare samples for cannabis analysis.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform pre-processing of samples, including sorting, labeling, and preparing samples for analysis according to specified procedures.
- Coordinate and distribute prepared samples to the appropriate analytical teams or laboratory sections.
- Ensure no cross contamination/mislabeling between samples and other materials.
- Maintain clear and accurate records of all pre-processing activities, including data entry and the management of logs and reports.
- Prioritize jobs according to Rush and client specific deadlines.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure accuracy and quality of work.
- Keep work area clean, neat and organized.
- Execute assigned tasks under the guidance of Supervisor.

Qualifications:

- High School Education/College Diploma.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented with a great attention for data accuracy and analysis.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ensure accuracy in results for repetitive tasks
- able to lift and carry up to 40lbs.

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- North York, ON M2H 2N8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Work Location: In person
