**The Opportunity**:
We are currently seeking an **Electrical Planner** to join our Maintenance Planning and Control Team at Copper Cliff Mine in Sudbury, Ontario. This is a **permanent **position.

As an Electrical Planner, you will be accountable for the planning of work for Copper Cliff Mine electrical team department and may be required to provide relief supervision as needed.

Additionally, in this position you will:

- Work Monday to Friday, 8 hours day shift.
- Coordinate and facilitate with the Scheduler to ensure all required planning/scheduling routines are followed.
- Identify and escalate all critical issues that threaten the successful execution of the "work schedule" for completion by Required End Date.
- Manage backlog to ensure work orders are planned with an emphasis on safety and ready to be executed prior to the required end date as determined through the notification. Ensure work orders user statuses are properly maintained throughout the lifecycle of the work order and closed with proper time confirmations completed.
- Control inventories of consumables and supplies, and order materials to achieve production and/or maintenance schedules. Work within budget, guidelines, and standards.
- Establish and maintain work relationships with the various key plant stakeholders including superintendents, supervisors, other schedulers, planners, crew members, etc.
- Relief supervisor as necessary which requires holding the crew accountable for safe behavior, housekeeping, teamwork, and professionalism.

**About You**

Education**:

- Grade 12 level education or GED equivalency is required.
- College diploma or university degree in a related industrial field or a university degree in a related discipline is preferred.
- Electrical Red Seal Certificate of Qualification 309A or 442A is preferred.

**Experience**:

- Minimum 3 years of experience working within SAP and the Prometheus add-on as a Planner and Scheduler and experience with Microsoft Office Products.

**Skills**:

- Ability to work with mínimal supervision and work well with others in a team environment.
- Written and oral communication skills.
- Must be obsessed with safety and risk.
- Demonstrate open and transparent dialogue in all aspects of work.
