With over 15 years of expertise in creating exceptional rental communities in the Greater Toronto Area, we're looking for a dedicated and talented Resident Manager to be a key part of our dynamic team.
**Responsibilities**:
As a Resident Manager, you'll be a crucial figure in overseeing two residential rental buildings located in Oakville, working closely with the Property Manager. Your primary role is to optimize property performance within established operational and budgetary objectives. This includes:
**Business Development & Marketing**:
- Conduct market surveys
- Recommend rental rates.
- Promote referral programs.
**Customer Service**:
- Create a friendly, professional atmosphere for residents.
- Organize and lead resident events.
- Address resident issues promptly.
- Exceed service expectations.
**Management & Training**:
- Interview and recommend hiring.
- Provide orientation and training.
- Foster continuous staff development
- Monitor work schedules
- Resolve conflicts.
- Budget understanding.
**Renting & Administration**:
- Show and rent units.
- Ensure timely rent collection.
- Distribute lease renewals.
- Utilize property management software.
**Property Maintenance**:
- Supervise trades and oversee maintenance.
- Coordinate month-end duties.
- Inspect and advise on repairs.
- Minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
- Cleaning of common areas, as required.
**Fire Safety-Life Safety-Emergency Response**:
- Maintain safety standards.
- Conduct fire drills.
- Investigate and record fire logs.
- Report deficiencies.
**Requirements**:
- 3-5 years of Property Management experience.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong passion for delivering excellent customer service.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-starter with creativity and flexibility.
**Salary**: From $40,000.00 per year
