**Job Summary**

The arborist-pruner is called upon to cut dead or healthy branches, to carry out guying work, to fertilize trees and shrubs and to spray pesticides on trees.

**Main responsibilities**
- Cut dead branches and prune healthy branches from young and adult trees.
- Clear overhead line networks
- Perform cabling and bracing on the trees.
- Transport and use heavy materials & equipment, while respecting safety rules.
- Perform tool maintenance.
- Comply with Strathmore landscape contractors’ policies and procedures.
- Adopt a courteous and polite attitude with customers and team members.
- Work safely and participate in safety meetings.
- Comply with Strathmore landscape contractors policies and procedures

**Requirements**:

- DEP in arboriculture-pruning from a recognized school
- 1 to 3 years of experience
- Good physical shape and have great stamina
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
