This is a fly in fly out 2 week rotation 11hr days
- for underground 11 hrs ST plus 1 hr OT per day

Role Description / Key Responsibilities:

- Reporting to Sr. Engineer, Mine, you will be responsible for carrying out a variety of duties, both in the field (underground and on the surface) as well as in the office, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Responsibilities will include underground survey and monitoring of development and production areas, concrete testing, ventilation monitoring, and various surface survey jobs.
- You will create driving layouts and other mine drawings under the direction of the design engineer and will further create drawings to accompany regularly issued reports.
- You will be required to accurately record data and properly file drawings and associated documents.
- You will be able to work independently, to communicate effectively with coworkers to plan work

**Salary**: Open to wage negotiations based on experience and qualifications.

**Requirements**:

- Technical diploma in mining or related field
- Three to six years of relevant work experience
- Fully proficient in surveying with total station, GPS and 3D scanning tools
- Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
- Strong communication, leadership, planning and problem-solving skills
- Experience with aerial drones would be an asset.
