We are currently seeking two applicants to join our team and fill Summer Yard Maintenance Positions for our Farms location in Leamington, ON.

**Job Details**:
Yard Maintenance is vital for a farm to prevent against pest habitation and to maintain surrounding areas for professional appearance. Yard Maintenance Summer staff are responsible for the care and landscaping of grounds surrounding Nature Fresh Farms.

**Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Lawn care and maintenance of the grounds around each phase, including trimming and edging around walks, flower beds, and walls.
- Ditch maintenance and lawn care
- Cleaning loading gutters and drains
- Repairing driveways
- Clearing litter
- Basic maintenance on equipment
- Assisting with other maintenance issues around the farm when needed
- Operate necessary equipment to maintain landscaped areas such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers.
- Complying with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- Advising the manager of any repairs needed or supplies that need to be replaced or ordered.
- Additional duties as assigned by the company.

**Job Requirements**:

- Must be able to perform physical labour daily.
- Ability to frequently lift 30lbs.
- Ability to operate and/or maintain various light equipment and tools is a definite asset.
- Good communications skills.
- Must be reliable with the ability to work independently and at times in a team environment.
- Must de dependable and punctual
- Good attention to detail.
- Must be safety conscientious and able to keep work areas tidy.
- Valid driver’s license is an asset
- Safety shoes and PPE required for the task are required.
- Must be available to work Monday to Friday with the occasional Saturdays depending on company needs.

**Working Conditions**:

- Working outdoors will be exposed to all weather conditions.
- Working with mínimal supervision for the majority of the day
- Able to reliably work independently but also a good team player.
- Exposure to outdoor pests
- Walking and standing throughout the day
- Weed whipping for extended periods.
- Travel from one location to the next or phase to phase may be required.

**Physical Requirements**
- Some heavy lifting may be required. It would be beneficial to be physically fit.

**Salary**:minimum wage
