**Position**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:

- Leading monthly billing processes and preparing all client invoices, reviewing WIP, producing prebills, assisting with invoice revisions and capturing various adjustments as instructed by responsible lawyers;
- Accounts payable including issuing cheques from general or trust accounts, processing payment for vendor and supplier invoices and issuing reimbursements;
- Accounts receivable including receiving deposits into general or trust accounts;
- Opening client files in the accounting software;
- Assisting with completion of annual trust report;
- Collaborating with the Director of HR and Operations and Controller on various tasks / projects such as preparation of expense reports, annual budgets and financial forecasts; and
- Filing and other administrative accounting duties as required.

**Qualifications & Qualities**:

- 3+ years’ experience in previous accounting roles required (professional services experience considered an asset);
- Degree, diploma or certificate in accounting, business or finance required;
- Familiarity with Law Society Trust Rules considered an asset;
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite;
- Experience with PCLaw and Soluno considered an asset;
- Knowledge on best practices regarding utilization of technology and working with digital accounting records to ensure efficient and risk-averse operations considered an asset;
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality;
- Outstanding customer service skills to support colleagues and external clients;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize work and manage time effectively;
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment; and
- Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

**How to Apply**:
**Salary**: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
