**Position Overview**:
The **Sales Greeter** is responsible for welcoming customers to the dealership, providing initial information, and guiding them to the appropriate sales representatives. This role involves creating a friendly and professional atmosphere, answering basic inquiries, and assisting in the customer engagement process to ensure a positive experience.
- Greet all customers with a friendly and professional demeanor as they enter the dealership.
- Offer assistance to customers and inquire about their needs to direct them to the appropriate sales representative or department.
- Provide basic information about the dealership, including services, promotions, and vehicle inventory.
- Answer general questions and address customer inquiries with accurate and helpful information.
- Assist customers in filling out necessary forms or paperwork if required.
- Ensure customers are comfortable and informed while they wait for a sales representative.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth handoffs and follow-ups with customers.
- Schedule test drives or appointments as needed, and coordinate with the sales staff to ensure timely service.
- Always maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism.
- Handle customer concerns or complaints promptly and escalate to management if necessary.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the greeting area and showroom.
- Assist with managing and organizing customer waiting areas and refreshments.
- Inform customers about current dealership promotions, events, and special offers.
- Distribute marketing materials and encourage customers to participate in dealership events.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in an automotive or retail environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Friendly, approachable demeanor with a positive attitude.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage time effectively.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with office equipment.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Capability to lift and carry light to moderate objects as needed.
- You must be legally authorized to work in Canada
