Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer Manager, the **Mechanical Drafter** is responsible to assist the mechanical designer and engineer in making drawings, schematic, and preapproved CAD changes. All work happens under the supervision of designer or lead engineer. Successful Drafter makes drawings in a timely manner in a way that is easy to interpret by machinist and assembly team so that there are few back and forth between Designer and Drafter.

**We are looking for a Warehouse Associate with the following**:

- Minimum of DEP in Industrial Design or DEC in Mechanical Engineering
- 1-2 year of experience in similar role
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, (Ideally of : Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk Vault, CADLink)

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Sainte-Anne-De-Bellevue, QC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (required)

**Experience**:

- mechanical drafting: 1 year (preferred)
- AutoCAD: 1 year (required)
