Responsibilities:

- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and efficient manner.

Also proficient in speaking English and able to handle a fast paced environment at peak times
- Take customer orders and accurately input them into the Point of Sale (POS) system
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches, salads, and other deli items according to customer preferences and company standards
- Ensure food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed during food preparation and service
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning equipment, utensils, and surfaces
- Handle cash transactions and operate cash registers with accuracy
- Upsell additional products or promotional items to customers
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and monitoring product expiration dates

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in the food industry or deli setting is preferred
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of POS systems for order processing and cash handling
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with others
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and safe food handling practices

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 44 per week
