Financial Analyst is responsible for activities related to the following major areas: capital management and investment, financial modeling, internal reporting, cross-functional corporate projects, and other ad hoc analysis.
- Compile, evaluate, and service capital asset requests from across the business in a timely manner
- Utilize financial modeling and data analytics to determine if investment in specific rental equipment and capital meets profitability thresholds
- Collaborate with associates to determine how the profitability of capital investments can be improved
- Analyze and report on key capital metrics in order to provide insight to business leaders and optimize the composition of the rental fleet
- Analyze and report on AR, inventory and working capital metrics, while seeking out efficiencies in the operations of the business
- Analyze and configure large sets of data in order to provide recommendations and draw conclusions
- Perform extensive financial modeling in support of the key corporate initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with the various departments and corporate management teams
- Assist in the preparation of presentation materials for leadership
- Perform other related duties as required

Required Qualifications:

- Post-secondary education in finance, accounting, or related business discipline
- Accounting designation and/or MBA is an asset
- 3 to 5 years of financial reporting/analysis experience
- Excellent PC skills in Excel and Google suite of products

Desirable Qualifications:

- IRR modeling and capital analysis is an asset, especially relating to the equipment rental industry
- PowerBI, Windows Dynamics, SAP (BPC), and/or Freshdesk experience is an asset

- Excellent oral and written communication skills that ensure a smooth flow of information

Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
