**Steel Detailing Project Manager**

**Job Type**: Full-Time, Permanent

We are looking for an experienced Steel Detailing Project Manager to oversee the production and completion of large-scale projects. You must be a multi-tasker who has excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills, and can effectively manage a team to finish their work efficiently and within deadlines. At the start of each project, you will collaborate with other department heads to discuss the scope and budget. Then you will monitor each phase, ensuring the staff works efficiently and that the final product meets our client’s expectations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate with fabricators, engineers and architects to meet project requirements
- Manage RFIs and Change Orders
- Prepare drawing packages and issue to the client per scheduled delivery dates
- Work directly with operations director to ensure client satisfaction
- Determine project roles, responsibilities, and deadlines for each team member
- Make sure that the project is being completed effectively on time and on budget
- Coordinate changes and be willing to adapt if necessary
- Keep teams committed, motivated, and productive throughout the project

Qualifications:

- Advanced level of knowledge of Tekla Structures
- 3-5 years of prior experience in project management is desired
- Experience in structural and miscellaneous steel construction, fabrication, and the ability to read drawings
- Proven project management and coordination skills
- Self-motivated and ability to complete multiple tasks with mínimal guidance
- Deadline driven with an attention to detail

**Requirements**:

- Diploma/certificate
- Canadian Citizenship/Legally able to work in Canada
