Position Overview
Fresh Start Foods is currently hiring a part-time Temporary Sanitation Worker who is eager to work in a fast paced team oriented work environment in our Calgary location.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of production facility equipment. Other Sanitation related duties may be required, as well as other warehouse related duties.
Employment Type : Part-time
Shift: 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM, Sunday - Wednesday
Must be able to work on Sundays and Holidays.

**Responsibilities**:

- Achieving productivity targets
- Ensuring tasks are finished according to schedules
- Working together with team members
- Ensuring areas are sanitized to specifications
- Following GMP practices
- Cleaning of equipment
- Communicating Quality Issues
- Working in a team environment
- Other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Reliable transportation is needed
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Accountable and Dependable
- Self Motivated and have the desire to continuously improve
- Able to follow instructions according to company's Good Manufacturing Practices
- Able to lift 40-50 lbs and work in a wet and cold environment
- Able to perform some janitorial functions
- Open to work in a changing work environment and able to multitask
- May require some flexibility in working some day shift hours
- Experience of food manufacturing sanitation procedures is an asset
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office package is an asset
- First Aid Certification an asset
- Forklift Certification (Propane), Scissor lift Certification an asset
