**Role Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Receive requests from internal and external clients and set up appropriate dispatch of trucks based on specific commodity requirements.
- Create and write Purchase orders for trucking clients / parts requests from other departments.
- Obtain and track Road Permits as required
- Complete the receiving process for PO’s
- Translate LSD’s / Coordinates from clients into directions / google maps pins for truckers.
- Estimate travel / loading times in order to have trucking arrive on site at requested times by clients
- Assist with gathering documents needed for daily tickets / receiving such as permits and BOLS.
- Write up wash reports for equipment / mats as needed by clients
- Maintain excel documents for wash tracking / mat tracking
- Occasionally assist other internal departments in completing their tasks

**Qualifications**
- 2-3 years proven experience as a dispatcher or relevant position
- Tech-savvy knowledge of relevant methods of transport
- Proficient in English (oral and written); Active listener with excellent communication skills.
- Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) is a must
- Problem Solving skills - must be a quick thinker and be able to resolve issues as they appear in a quick manner
- Attention to details - client details are important especially during the cross-shift.
