Construction workers provide assistance to operators and crew members on various construction projects. Types of projects include: culvert installation, tree clearing, paving, and concrete forming.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Complete work/tasks as directed by site supervisor.
- Level earth to fine grade specifications using rake and shovel
- Assist fellow workers in the safe operation of equipment and backing up of trucks.
- Operate small handheld tools including quick cut saws, plate packers, pumps, jack hammers (Training for all equipment can and will be provided)
- Responsible to ensure all tools needed for each task are present and in working order.
- Assist with traffic control when required (training will be provided)
- Ensure all tasks are conducted with the utmost safety in mind.
- Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
- Lift heavy loads up to 50 lbs and navigate construction job site terrain
- Perform general maintenance of construction equipment and vehicles
- Company will provide training including: Working at Heights, Fall Protection, Chain Saw, First Aid and CPR

**Qualifications & Skills**
- Valid G license and clean driving record preferred
- High school diploma preferred
- 2+ years’ construction industry experience preferred
- Comfort working in busy construction environment with extreme weather fluctuations

**Benefits**:

- This position offers the ability to travel throughout Ontario as the projects vary in location
- A meal allowance of $80 per day is in included
- All Travel Costs included: Hotel, Travel Time, Fuel ect.
- Hi-Visibility Jackets, Vest and Safety Boot Allowance is included

**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time

**Salary**: $26.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
