We are presently accepting resumes for an **IT Summer Student** to provide administrative support IT Department. This is a full-time contract position ending on Aug 31st, 2024. This position works up to 37.5 hours weekly with an hourly rate of pay of $21.11.

**Minimum requirements of this position include**:

- Enrolled in post-secondary education in IT/Computer related programs; or other closely related fields of education, is an asset;
- Some Computer related experience (preferred);
- Good organizational skills, detail oriented, flexibility and communication skills;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft 365;
- A valid class G driver's license and reliable transportation is an asset.

**Overview of Duties (including, but not limited to)**:

- Providing technical assistance to users by troubleshooting and assisting with system upgrades or installations;
- Assisting with database administration tasks such as data entry, database maintenance, performing regular maintenance and upgrades to I.T. equipment;
- Providing customer service to internal users by responding to inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring user satisfaction;
- Helping to manage and monitor computer and troubleshooting network connectivity issues;
- Creating and updating technical documentation, user guides, and training materials;
- Performing other duties as directed by the Manager/Supervisor.
