Must know how to operate knuckle Boom truck
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Boom Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations safely and efficiently. This is a vital role in our organization, ensuring that our products are delivered on time and in excellent condition.
**Duties**:
- Safely operate commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers and delivery trucks
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securement
- Plan routes and schedules to optimize efficiency and meet delivery deadlines
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and other relevant information
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
- Perform basic automotive repairs as needed
- Operate forklifts or other heavy equipment as required
**Requirements**:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a Truck Driver or similar role
- Knowledge of freight transportation regulations and procedures
- Basic automotive repair skills
- Ability to operate forklifts or other heavy equipment is a plus
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
