Position**:Sandblaster**

**Shift: 7:00 am to 4:30pm Monday to Thursday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Friday**

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Sandblasting trailers and trailer parts using sand blast pot
- Operating heavy machinery and power tools while following health and safety regulations
- Using beaks, shears, saws, rollers, irons, drill presses, and other related equipment on a daily basis
- Assisting the welders, painters, and other team members with any requirements and other troubleshooting
- Support with wiring, hydraulics, tires, and the flooring of trailers
- Handling and transporting material from one plant to another
- Adhering to instructions from supervisors such as stacking materials from shipments and unloading tools and equipment
- Reporting any issues with equipment or unsafe working conditions

**Requirements**:

- 1+ year sandblasting experience is required
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset
- Ability to understand and communicate proficiently in English
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, a drill press, and other related machinery is nice to have
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment

**Working Conditions**
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Sitting / standing for long periods of time
- Frequent exposure to extreme hot and cold weather conditions
- Often required to wear protective attire including but not limited to hooded sandblaster mask (fresh air) and gloves.
