We are looking for an ambitious, driven, and hardworking **Hospitality Recruitment Specialist**. You will be working closely alongside the Placement and Program Operations teams to deliver all aspects of "matchmaking", helping students and program participants secure a work experience. We are responsible for the successful match between the participant and their perfect work experience opportunity.

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**
- Provide effective relationship management with our hospitality employment partners, education providers, industry bodies and corporate organisations
- Place co-op students and program participants in hospitality roles related to their studies, skills and experience
- Assess student fit and profile in alignment with employer expectations
- Work closely with employers to assess job openings, as well as develop a thorough understanding of their operations, culture, and hiring needs
- Explore new opportunities in order to locate new streams of employer contacts
- Understand Employers jobs’ requirements across a range of positions to ensure a successful matchmaking with the participants
- Present informational workshops to students to outline requirements and describe placement services
- Prepare students, within a pre-determined timeframe, and ensure their profile meet the requirements of the employers
- Responsible for the vetting and admission of participants to the program
- Travel within BC/AB to visit host company partners and program participants
- Support the marketing department in creating promotional content

**REQUIREMENTS**
- A degree/diploma in hospitality management, business or related field
- At least 1-year of experience in a similar role
- Hospitality related experience is a plus
- Superior customer service and stakeholder engagement skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to compliance requirements
- Acute organization skills and strong ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Ability to travel within Canada
- Highly motivated by personal targets as well as team goals; a true team player
- Excellent problem-solving ability with a strong sense of urgency
