There is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to join our Marcon Craft Team in the role of Carpenter. Reporting to the Site Superindent, Marcon’s team of carpenters are reliable, hard-working, and willing to report to various types of construction sites across the Lower Mainland. They enjoy working outdoors in a fast-paced environment and have a high standard of quality workmanship.

**About the Role**
- Perform all carpentry needs such as:

- Cut and install stairs.
- Layout of building or structure.
- Wall construction.
- Window installs.
- Plumb level and square checks.
- Review and sloping of decks.
- Install temporary doors and pre-hung doors.
- Perform miscellaneous forming as needed.
- Have basic knowledge of drywall installation.
- Have ability to install door trim and casing.
- Install site signage, plumb and level.
- Set up interior and exterior site protection.
- Cut and install baseboards, door casings and crown mouldings.
- Install site signage, plumb and level.
- Rough-in carpentry and finishing skills.
- Other manual labour tasks as needed.
- Maintain a safe and clean work site

**About You**
- Finishing skills, such as cabinetry and millwork skills are an asset.
- Have good knowledge to safely use all power tools and provide a supply of own small hand tools.
- Must be skilled in carpentry and have residential and/or multi family framing.
- Reading and understanding structural and arch drawings is an asset.
- Be reliable and on time, ready to begin work when expected.
- Perform Field Level Hazard Assessments and an awareness of safe working procedures.
- Red Seal is an asset.
- Able to work both independently and within a team.
- Accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills required.
