**City Experiences is seeking a Dock Attendant for our City Cruises operation in Gananoque.**
- *Please note this is a seasonal/contract position*_

**About You**:
This person will be adaptable, dynamic, and embody City Experiences’ RESPECT Service System.

**About the Opportunity**:
The Dock Attendant will perform a variety of tasks to ensure a smooth operation of the docks. The Dock Attendant will work in a safe and efficient manner while providing a high level of customer service to all guests.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Manage guest traffic flow on and off the docks
- Follow safety protocols to ensure the protection of passengers and the vessel
- Handle lines to moor vessels to dock
- Ensure docks are clean and free of any debris
- Answer general inquiries and provide information about facility
- Immediately report any incidents or safety concerns to Dock Manager
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist guests with questions or concerns and relay information to Dock Manager
- Follows all safety policies, departmental policies, and service standards
- Adheres to all health and safety regulations
- Additional job duties as assigned

**Requirements & Qualifications**:

- O.S.S.D. or equivalent as recognized by the Ministry of Education
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Must be able to effectively understand and convey written and verbal information to guests and coworkers
- Must possess a service orientation - actively looking for ways to help others
- Energetic and enthusiastic personality essential
- Will work for extended periods of time without sitting
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, wipe, push, pull, move or lift up to 40 lbs (18 kgs)
- Must be able to throw and catch mooring lines from ship
- Will be required to be available for work on all major holidays
