Drama Instructor

Drama school graduates and past drama teachers welcome We are looking to fill a few spots to teach drama in a elementary school. The classes are excerpted to take place once a week during the school hours. Though classes are less than an hour, you will still be paid for the full hour.

**Responsibilities**
- Deliver drama program to students.
- Put together a short play with students.
- Assist students in writing a play together that they will perform in.
- Create an engaging and energetic, safe environment.

**Qualifications**
- Degree, diploma or attending education
- Experience teaching students is an asset
- OCT is a plus
- Experience with children ages 6-12 is a must
- An existing valid vulnerable sector check form is preferred.
- Background in theatre, musical theatre or any forms of drama is a _PLUS_

If you also happen to be fluent in French, that's a huge plus.

**Job Type**: Seasonal
Contract length: 10 weeks

**Salary**: $35.00-$40.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mississauga, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- teaching: 1 year (preferred)
