**Site Superintendent, Apartments**

The Site Superintendent role will provide on-site coordination for all phases of multi-family apartment construction projects. You will be tasked with ensuring specifications are being followed and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget.

**What will you do?**
- Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors in critical path to ensure on-time completion.
- Perform quality control duties regarding the work being performed.
- Ensure that work is completed as per approved IFC drawings, Approved Shop Drawings, Site Instructions and Specifications.
- Ensure that trades are in compliance with Site Safety requirements as per ROHIT safety policy and OHS requirements.
- Communicate with project team regarding Change Orders.
- Ensure that subcontractor is fully executing and complying with his contracted scope of work.
- Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions.
- Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to the project team for resolution.
- Maintain daily log (written) of activities on the jobsite.
- Ensure subcontractor has corrected all deficiencies identified by the project team.
- Walk all units on project daily to monitor activities and assist in future scheduling.
- Establish and enforce job site quality control programs to ensure quality completion of construction.
- Schedule all subcontractors, consultants, and vendors, as well as ensure their completion of work within time allowed.
- All other related duties and responsibilities as required.

**What do we look for?**
- Minimum of five years of verifiable experience in four/six storey wood-frame construction with parkades.
- Thorough knowledge of construction scheduling, trade scopes and must be computer literate.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project & Outlook) is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively in front of groups of customers or colleagues within the organization.
