Food Trader

My client is a leading fully integrated Canadian-based importer, exporter and distributor of wholesale meats and seafood. The company offers a diverse product line of Beef, Pork, Veal, Mutton, Goat, Lamb, Poultry and Seafood. They were founded in 1991 and are highly profitable and growing.

Due to expansion they are looking for a **Food Trader - North American Market**:

- Seeking an experienced individual to head both the procurement and sales into North America. The individual must be a proven trader experienced in managing a multi-million-dollar sales portfolio.
- Must be qualified in the market knowledge, product knowledge (Chicken but not limited to), intuition and initiative to drive purchases and sales.
- Ideally this opening is for the head office located in Mississauga, Ontario Canada (30 min from downtown Toronoto) - but not limited to as remote is available if qualified.
- Responsible for developing the North American Market (but not limited to) for mostly commodity protein cuts (primarily Chicken but not limited to). They must look to promote product to potential new customers but will be supplied an existing customer base with sales for these markets.

**Salary**: $125-150K CAD + uncapped commission + accelerators
- 20-30% commission earnings.
- Potential sign on bonus too
- Will be given an established portfolio of accounts to sell to
