Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking full-time Warehouse Associate Handyman to join our team. The applicant must have a full G driver's license with clean driving abstract, the ability to drive a forklift (with valid license), and must be able to effectively use a computer. An individual with 1-2 years of HVAC knowledge, is an asset. Working hours are 6:30AM-4:30PM Monday-Friday. As a Warehouse Associate Handyman, you will be responsible for various tasks including, but not limited to:
**Responsibilities**:

- Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse
- Maintain accurate inventory records
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

**Skills**:

- Maintaining & servicing all tools, equipment, vehicles and material (Including trailers, scissor lifts, etc.)
- Record keeping and computer logging of material, equipment, etc.
- Disassembly of old HVAC units, sorting, scrapyard deliveries
- Maintaining a cleanly space in restrooms and removing office/shop garbage/shredding’s into the dumpster
- Pickups, deliveries, loading/offloading of trucks, job & material preparation. Use a forklift for deliveries
- Processing HVAC related warranties online, using Microsoft Excel/Word
- Proficient in operating forklifts and other heavy equipment
- Use of a forklift to accept deliveries
- Shop stock inventory and ordering of any parts/materials
- Sweep with the magnetic broom to clear screws, mop the floors as necessary
- Set up shop/office for training sessions/events as required
- Complete jobs in the field and assist the foreman as required when the shop is not busy

**Experience**:
2 years of HVAC experience

Valid G Driver's License

WHMIS

Hours of position: 6:30AM - 4:30PM Monday to Friday
- 4% vacation pay (given each paycheque, days taken off are unpaid), 3 paid sick days per year
- Benefits and RRSP plan access after 3 months
- Uniform after 3 months

Starting salary: $950.00 / week gross
