**Position Summary**:
We are looking for a motivated team player to join our production team and assist in manufacturing LED lighting products.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Communicates and listens effectively in a professional and courteous manner.
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills (work neatly.)
- Manually install LED strip assemblies according to knowledge of unit being assembled by following written directions and/or drawings and/or schematics.
- Utilizes small hand tools to assist in the assembly process.
- Work in compliance with safety policies.
- Ability to solve minor problems and recognize bigger problems that require supervisor.
- Each assembler will be required to use basic hand tools including: rulers, tape measures, scissors, screwdrivers, hammers, razor blades and other various tools as needed.
- Fill out quality control documents as required during the production process.
- At times, Assemblers will be asked to assist in other tasks including but not limited to: loading material on the CNC machine, soldering, crating and packing orders.
- Each employee is responsible for keeping a clean and tidy workplace.

**Physical Demands**:

- The position will require the worker to stand at their workstation for a full workday except for breaks and meal times.
- Lifting up to 50lbs for short periods of time.
- At times the work area can be noisy. Noise levels can be in excess of 95dB. Hearing protection will be provided as need.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- High school education; or up to six months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Good eye/hand coordination (can work with small parts and assemblies.)
- Ability to read and speak English fluently.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to use measuring tools such as rulers and tape measures.
- Experience with soldering is a plus
- Computer proficiency is also a plus
