Animation Compositor

**Compositor - Stop Motion Series**

Imagine Create Media is family entertainment company; we create premium quality entertainment and educational experiences for the whole family, both live action and animation, across multiple platforms, including television, music, digital, publishing, and live events.

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Compositor to join our team for upcoming Stop Motion Animation productions. We are looking for a team-player, with an ability to troubleshoot and think on their feet, with a ‘pitch in and help’ attitude to get the job done. They should have prior experience in stop motion animation, or alternatively, digital animation or visual effects.

Looking for someone for an immediate start on a part-time / freelance basis, with the possibility of full-time work stating in June.

The Role:

- Attend launch meetings with the Directors
- Create digital assets, such as mouth shapes, eyes and digital fx, as needed
- Render out stop motion animation
- Create and add a digital animation layer to the stop motion
- Paint out / remove stop motion rigs, as required
- Perform revisions / fixes as required
- Coordinate delivery of animated shots to post production

**Requirements**:

- Strong knowledge of Adobe After Effects
- Good sense of timing / acting
- Good communication skills
- Must be based in, and legally eligible to work in Canada

Salary Range:

- $30 - $40 per hour
