Baker/cashier

MUST BE AVAILABLE THROUGHOUT OCTOBER 2024- APRIL 2025

Must currently live in Canmore, AB.
- Primary focus of this job would be the baking of GLUTEN FREE + VEGAN items
- Follow recipes and ensure consistency in product quality and taste
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including washing dishes and sanitizing equipment
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering ingredients and supplies as needed
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient production and timely completion of orders
- Food handling: Knowledge of proper food safety and handling procedures to maintain cleanliness and prevent contamination
- Baking: Proficiency in mixing ingredients, measuring quantities accurately, and following baking techniques for different types of products
- Kitchen experience: Familiarity with working in a commercial kitchen environment, including using kitchen equipment and following safety protocols
- Customer service: Ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders, answering questions, and providing recommendations

Note: Prior experience as a baker or formal culinary training is preferred but not required. Willingness to learn and passion for baking are essential qualities for this role.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
