Civil construction company specializing in wind farm construction and maintenance is requiring full time personnel for operations and maintenance of a wind farm near Medicine Hat, AB.  Duties include:

- responsibility to inspect, trouble shoot, repair and generally maintain 3 wind turbines on an on
- call basis as well as complete scheduled maintenance protocols
- track and maintain tools and parts inventory and other operations reports
- involvement in construction labour encompassing all aspects of wind farm and electrical facility construction from earthworks to concrete pouring to turbine erection
- Wind turbine experience
- Construction experience
- Flexibility
- Aptitude for problem solving
- Skill with technology - experience with SCADA systems an asset
- be located in or willing to relocate to Medicine Hat, AB
- be willing to work on an on-call basis
- be willing to travel to western Canadian construction sites occasionally
- have a valid Class 5 driver’s license

Training will be provided but the following certifications are an asset:
GWO Working at Heights

High angle rescue

First Aid

WHMIS

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00-$40.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Medicine Hat, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
