**Graphic Design Internship**

**Start Date-** January 2024

**End Date**:

- April 2024 (with possibility to extend)

**Location**:

- Ottawa, ON, CA (must be within commuting distance), Monday-Wednesday in office working days

**Schedule**:

- Business hours up to 30 hours/week; flexible based on school schedule.

**Pay**:

- CA$18/hour

Student must be in a current college or university internship program.

**YOU'LL GET TO...**
- Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with multiple teams or clients on a wide range of materials that may include web pages, presentations, programming collateral, signage, internal communications, newsletters, and marketing materials
- Translate strategic direction into high-quality design within an established brand identity
- Develop concepts by hand or with software, and execute original content by determining the ideal usage of color, text, font style, imagery, and layout
- Drive advertisement design, spanning both offline materials and online promotional campaigns
- Maintain a firm grasp on design trends as well as emerging media
- Manage projects from initial creative brief to finished output while communicating status to all stakeholders effectively;
- Work closely with Creative Director, Accounts Team, and Director of Production to ensure all task are completed in a timely manner

- Must be detail-oriented, with effective organizational and project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects/tasks and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Must be a self-starter, with the ability to work well under pressure, and have solid problem-solving, judgment and decision-making skills.
- High level of creativity and "rolled up sleeves" working style.
- Flexibility to work independently and as a team player.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suites (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
- Knowledge of HTML,CSS and Wordpress and asset
- Completing a Diploma in Graphic Design or Advertising/Marketing
