What you will do

Scaffolders apply, remove, and modify scaffold components as per industry best practices.
- Utilizes site drawings and written instructions to select materials required to set ground levels for scaffolds
- Installs tube, system components, support braces and clamps to form bases for scaffolds
- Lifts and positions sections of scaffolding together to build scaffolding as per site requirements
- Dismantles scaffolding at the completion of a job
- May perform other related duties as assigned

**Requirements**:
**Qualifications**:

- **Must have Apprentice Scaffolder ticket (2nd or 3rd Year)**:

- Previous industrial construction experience
- Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing, as required by client

**Working Environment**:

- Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions
- This is a camp job

**Physical & Other Requirements**
- Lifting, bending, climbing
- Ability to be exposed to various types of work environments
- Use of various shop equipment and trade-related hand tools
- Use of specialized PPE such as respirators, coveralls and safety glasses

**Key Competencies**
- Quality Assurance - Ensures all quality assurance processes have been followed and products/services meet quality standards
- Safety - Ensures health and safety is a daily focus by acting in a safe manner at all time

**Tickets Required**
- OSSA Fall Protection
- CSTS 09
- H2S
- Confined space an asset

**Working Schedule**:

- 10 days on 4 days off
- 10 hours per shift
- Camp and flights available

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract

**Ability to commute/relocate**:

- Fort McMurray, AB T8L 0M4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Salary**: $29.40-$33.60 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Edmonton, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Scaffold: 1 year (preferred)
