Public Relations Agent

This is a Summer Student Job.
- We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Public Relations Agent to join our team.
- Perform outreach to assigned community leaders, institutions, and centers to secure meetings and tabling opportunities.
- Build relationships with community leaders and groups, and promote ICNA Relief Canada's mission in the community.
- Develop and execute comprehensive public relations strategies
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure messaging consistency

**Requirements**:

- Experience in the field of Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field preferred
- Proven experience in a Public Relations role
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly
- Strong public speaking and presentation skills
- Proficient in conducting research, writing, proofreading, and editing
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- Experience in marketing strategies is a plus

**Job Types**: Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 8 weeks

Pay: $16.55 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

Work Location: In person
