**Job description**
**Family Engagement Worker(s) - Bay Roberts**
(Full-time, permanent)
Family Engagement Workers provide support to families in a variety of ways, including direct intervention in the home and community; respite; and supervised access. Intervention is individualized to the young people and families, most of whom have complex needs and/or developmental challenges.
**Qualifications**: The successful applicant(s) must be creative, innovative, self-aware, confident, flexible, and adaptable. A diploma/degree in child and youth care, social work or a related field, experience working with young people and families with complex needs, or an equivalent combination of the two is required. Applicants must have experience successfully de-escalating crisis situations. Knowledge and understanding of family systems theory and trauma informed intervention is a necessity.

**Salary**: $51,480.00-$65,541.00 per year
