Pellet Machine Operator

Responsibilities:

- Operate and control the pellet machine efficiently and safely to ensure smooth production processes.
- Monitor the pellet machine's performance, including temperature, pressure, and material flow, to maintain optimal output.
- Conduct regular inspections of the machine's components, identifying any abnormalities or malfunctions, and perform basic troubleshooting.
- Load raw materials into the machine, ensuring accurate measurements and appropriate mixtures.
- Adjust machine settings and controls based on specific pellet size requirements and production goals.
- Ensure the consistent flow of pellets by monitoring conveyor belts and adjusting speed settings as necessary.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning tasks on the pellet machine to maximize its lifespan and prevent malfunctions.
- Collaborate with the production team to maintain a steady supply of raw materials and ensure smooth workflow.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Complete production reports, documenting output, machine performance, and any issues encountered during the shift.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve the pellet production process and suggest enhancements to increase efficiency and quality.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy weights throughout the shift and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions and maintain accurate records.
- Solid mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills to address any minor issues that may arise during machine operation.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and report any concerns or malfunctions promptly.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision while adhering to production schedules and deadlines.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime as required.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to all safety regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.

**Salary**: $19.94 per hour
