The Criminology Department at KPU currently offers a Bachelor of Arts, Major in Criminology degree as well as one
- and two-year credentials. The department emphasizes pedagogical principles and educational approaches that incorporate community-based research, professional development, and experiential learning across the curriculum, including service learning, practicum, and a co-op program option. The Criminology Department is a diverse collective of faculty representing academic research and/or practical, professional experience in the field, and is home to the Social Justice Centre. We are interested in applicants who reflect teaching and scholarship within our polytechnic mandate. Recruiting and retaining colleagues who reflect our diverse student body is a continuing goal of our department.
