Laser Operator

Canadian Curtis Refrigeration is a manufacturer of polyurethane foam insulated panels used on our walk-in cooler/freezer rooms and custom reach-in products. We are located in the Stoney Creek area (not on a bus route) and currently have a job opening for a full-time laser operator. This shift runs Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm.

**Responsibilities/Duties**:

- Program, set up and operate laser
- Effectively and consistently manufacture product daily, while conforming to all specifications.
- Manage, control and provide input for the flow of materials and information.
- Read and understand blueprints, drawings and engineering information.
- Perform general preventative equipment maintenance and ensure mínimal downtime.
- Effectively and efficiently manage time based on customer needs and required output volume.
- Keeping parts organized throughout the process of the order.
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- 1-3 years experience operating CO2 Laser
- Basic math skills
- Able to read blueprint/shop drawings
- Computer skills
- Problem Solving
- Excellent written and oral Communication
- Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
