Painters Assistant

We are looking for a person to work in our small scale finishing department. Job requires to prepare doors, detail panels & finish interior panels for painting or staining. Job also requires to help on sites to touch up damaged panels, as well as prepare and assist in on site spraying for finish carpentry (kitchen refaces) & drywall painting (mostly spraying, part rolling). This includes visually inspecting all parts to be painted for any defects, repairing the defect if required, and sanding parts.

You will also work with our painter to move parts in and out of the paint booth. Also work with the painter to learn how to spray the parts and possibly take over some of the painting duties and cleaning duties.

If interested in part-time work, we are willing to look at a **flexible schedule of everyday mornings or afternoons, or full days.**

**Attention to detail and enjoying working with a team is a requirement.**

Experience with spray painting using a pump or gravity feed spray gun an asset, but willing to train if interested in learning.
